Welcome to Seaside Neighborhood School middle school sports. Sports in the middle school years are a training ground preparing students for high school. They are different from the typical YMCA or recreation ball leagues from elementary school years, because there are tryouts and cuts that are not typical of elementary school leagues. Even though a student makes the cut of any team does not guarantee them playing time on the field. All of this is preparation for the high school years. What makes the sports program so unique at Seaside Neighborhood School is that the small number of students we have allows for more opportunities to make athletic teams. I encourage each student to tryout for a sport that interests you.

Seaside Neighborhood School's Athletic Program strives to help students build skills for sports along with increasing confidence, self-esteem, and sportsmanship in each student. This is accomplished with the participation of parents, coaches, and the community working together.
